Protecting your information is a priority of Chariot Transit Inc. ("Chariot"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Smart Mobility LLC, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company. This Privacy Statement applies to Chariot Transit Inc., the chariot.com website, the Chariot Mobile Application ("Chariot App"), and Chariot services (collectively referenced herein as "Chariot", "site", "website" "App", "we" or "us"), and governs data collection by Chariot and usage by Chariot and its Affiliated Companies. Affiliated Companies is defined as the group of companies related by common control or ownership, and includes but is not limited to Ford Motor Company and Ford Smart Mobility, LLC. Information You Provide Chariot

Chariot may collect information you provide us such as your name, address, phone number and email address. If you purchase Chariot's products and services, Chariot collects billing and credit card information to complete the purchase transaction. This information may directly identify you and so we refer to it as personally identifiable information. Chariot may also collect information based on inputs you provide to Chariot such as route information including preferred routes and starting and ending points, and commuting frequency.

For job applicants, Chariot may collect additional information you provide such as your work history, references and other information you provide on your resume.

Chariot allows you to create login credentials by typing in your user name/ID or email address and password and other information, or by using one of the available social media authentication methods such as Facebook or Google+. If you choose to create login credentials using your account with one of the available social media authentication tools, you allow Chariot to access your information that is publicly available or that you have made publicly available (e.g., name, user ID, profile picture), and information you "Allow" the website to access. By authenticating through one of the social media options, you allow Chariot to receive your information that is accessible. Chariot encourages you to review the privacy policy and any terms and conditions, for the method you choose to utilize for authentication.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose information or personally sensitive data through Chariot's public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

Automatically Collected Information

Chariot automatically collects information related to site or App usage and it includes information such as pages and times visited and click through data. Chariot may use and share non-personal information for any purpose.

When you visit chariot.com or use the Chariot App, information about your computer or mobile device hardware and software may be automatically collected by Chariot. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. Chariot collects additional information from mobile devices specifically which may include the type/model of the mobile device viewing the site and the mobile device's service provider and operating system.

Chariot collects location information from the App. For example, if your mobile phone has the capability and the GPS feature on the mobile phone is turned on, you can utilize certain locator functionalities which may utilize GPS data to determine your location in order to fulfill your request.

To improve Chariot services, Chariot vehicles contain live video cameras. By using Chariot services you have no expectation of privacy when in a Chariot vehicle.

Chariot may use session and persistent "cookies," session logs, spotlight ads/web beacons/GIF/pixel tags, banner ads or links, and third-party click tracking analytics tools (such as Mixpanel and Google Analytics; these companies may also use such tools) to collect information about site visitors.

An explanation on collection methods and how they work is included in the Appendix titled Methods to Automatically Collect Information.

Chariot may provide you the opportunity to integrate with third-party social media sites, and it may track on an aggregate level things like the number of items "liked" on this site, or items on this site that you choose to share with a third-party social media site.

Online Tracking Information

When you visit this site or use the App, analytics providers may collect information about your activity over time and across websites or Apps.

Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret web browser-based "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signals other than cookies, Chariot does not currently respond to undefined "DNT" signals to its US websites and Apps.

Most browsers can be configured not to accept cookies, however, this may prevent you from having access to some functions or services on Chariot sites.

See the Appendix titled Methods to Collect Information.

How We Use Information You Provide to Chariot

Chariot and its Affiliated Companies may use the information you provide us to inform you of products or services available from Chariot. Chariot may also contact you via surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services that may be offered. Chariot also uses the information to operate its website(s) and App and to provide you with great functionality and services, including location-based services, to allow you to control certain site or App features, fulfill requests you've made, personalize your experience, troubleshoot problems, develop new and improved products, services, and marketing strategies and research, to protect safety, property, privacy, and security, and/or to comply with legal requirements.

We may combine the information you provide with information we obtain about you from other data sources. You may choose not to provide certain personal information, but this may limit or prevent use of certain features including purchasing the service or creating an account.

All such service providers are prohibited from using such information except to provide these services to Chariot, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Chariot uses third-party analytics providers that may collect information associated to device identifiers or cookie IDs, and site metrics may be shared with other Chariot websites, Apps, subsidiaries, Affiliated Companies, or third parties.

If Chariot or Affiliated Company's assets are sold, acquired, merged, or reorganized, including through bankruptcy, your information is an asset that may be transferred to the acquiring or new entity and subject to that entity's privacy policy.

If a child has provided Chariot with personally identifiable information a parent or guardian of that child may contact Chariot at the phone number, email or mailing address listed in the Contact Information and Contacting Chariot section below if they want this information deleted from its records. Appendix — Methods to Automatically Collect Information

A "cookie" is a small text file that helps in many ways to make your visit to Chariot's website more enjoyable and meaningful to you. For example, cookies avoid you having to log in every time you come back to one of Chariot's websites. They also allow Chariot to tailor a website or advertisement to better match your interests and preferences. There are a couple different types of cookies.

A "session" cookie is stored only in your computer's working memory (RAM) and only lasts for your browsing session. When you close all your browser's windows, or when you shut down your computer, the session cookie disappears forever.

A "persistent" cookie is stored on your computer's hard drive until a specified date, which could be tomorrow, next week, or 10 years from now. Persistent cookies stay on your computer until either a) they expire, b) they are overwritten with newer cookies, or c) you manually remove them. Most browsers can be configured not to accept cookies, however, this may prevent you from having access to some site functions or features.

This site may use third-party click tracking analytics tools (such as Mixpanel and Google Analytics) to capture clickthrough statistics. These parties may collect information about your use of the site and across different sites and mobile apps, and across devices over time.

Google is independently owned and operated, and data collected by Google is subject to its privacy policy. Chariot encourages you to review the Google privacy policy at http://www.google.com/privacy.html and Google's How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps (located at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/) so that you can understand how the data is collected, used and shared.

Chariot may use spotlight ads/web beacons/GIF/pixel tags which are site instrumentation tools that help determine, for instance, whether a page has been viewed or not and, if so, how many times. Emails or electronic newsletters Chariot sends may use tools (e.g., pixel tags or web beacons) to gather email metrics and information to improve the reader's experience such as how many of the emails are opened, if they were printed or forwarded, the type of device (e.g., mobile or PC) from which they were opened, and the city, state, and county associated with the applicable IP address. In general, any electronic image viewed as part of a webpage, including an ad banner, can act as a web beacon.

This website may generate a "session log" when you visit Chariot's site. Chariot uses session logs to help determine how people travel through its site. In this way, Chariot can structure site pages so that the information most frequently visited is easier to find. By tracking page visits, Chariot can also determine if the information provided is being used. The only data gathered is the Internet Protocol (IP) address from which you came, the website that referred you, the pages you visited and the date and time of those visits.

Users may be directed to this website or App via banner ads or site links. Ads or site links that are placed by Chariot use cookies or web beacons to deliver metrics on the effectiveness of the ads or links. They do not collect personally identifiable information from the user.
